In 1988, at the age of 26, I was elected to the Conway City Council over a prominent businessman and served three terms. I have met with United States Senator Dale Bumpers, Governor Bill Clinton, Governor Jim Guy Tucker and our state and county representatives to benefit Conway. Co-chairing the Parks and Recreation Committee, we began the system of walking trails along with building both Sports Centers and Don Owen Park, as well as, securing the land from the county for the tee ball fields.
I believe that traditional moral values and personal responsibility are the backbone of our republic. I believe in limited government and low taxes.
I have managed paint stores for Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore dealers. I currently manage my family’s commercial and residential rental properties. I enjoy listening to and working with people of all backgrounds and socio-economic status.
What has compelled me to run? SERVICE. People expect attention when they need it. The City Council effects the quality of life of our community more than most elected officials. I will be a service provider with a “boots on the ground” approach to the concerns of our citizens.
